Based on the global environmental protection plea of energy saving and carbon reduction and friendliness to the environment, the Group actively cooperates with all environmental protection measures of the “Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC)” of NIKE and other international brands

Resources

To reduce the carbon footprint, we adopt local sourcing materials like cement, sand, and stone for our factories and offices. Otherwise, rock wool wall is adopted as green material for fireproof (maximum for 2.5 hour), heat isolation, sound isolation, and energy saving (fans and air-conditioner).

Nature

Learn from Nature

Nature is the greatest mentor and inspiration of us. Air circulation system (hot air comes in from one side and goes out the other side) with double layer roof and sidewall openings (venetian blind wall) can cause a positive reaction into natural ventilation also designed to prevent rain from coming in.

A factory can be a park as well. Plants around factories bring the rainwater filtering, noise and vibration absorbing, soil and water conservation, solar radiation absorbing, air freshening, and the most important: make people happy.

WATER RESOURCES

Water

Recollect Rain

Raindrop Collection System and facility in Vietnam and Indonesia which collect 700 tons of raindrop every month, which equals 12 sets of standard 25M X 12M X 2M pool.
Reuse Water

Total 775,000 tons of wastewater annually treated by PAIHO Reverse Osmosis Treatment Facility, and 80% (620,000 tons) drinkable level after reverse osmosis treatment. In addition, 9,900 tons of daily treatment capacity reuse into manufacturing. Central Monitoring System for 24H monitoring all parameters of discharging water.

BioFuel

Using wood pellets instead of coal for heat supply to lower carbon emission.
Natural Lighting

Paiho new factory in Vietnam adopted Natural Lighting System with Tubular Lightning (aluminum silver plating for light refraction) which refract sunlight 98% and reach 200 lx (standard 180 lx). Also LED light bulbs are rounded the tube for cloudy days (30 times longer life than halogen light bulb).
Reuse Steam

Reuse the steam caused during dye process (assuming dyeing temperature is 100°C.) and reduce indoor temperature from hot steam at the same time. By reuse steam, we can reduce heating time and save energy by taking advantages of the steam.

Green manufacturing

Yarn to Yarn

Zero waste proposal from re-extruding of the waste yarn (with color coordination support) or recycled PET bottles. We pelletize the waste yarn or recycled plastic bottles and drying, melting flake and cutting, then crystallized recycled PET pellets extrude fiber for textiles. PET recycled yarn is available for all models of woven and knitted fabrics, webbings, elastic, or drawcords.
Circular Yarn to Filler

Waste yarn not only can be recycled to yarn, but also a perfect filler as foam for molded component or composite materials. Digital woven fabric with recycled filler made with waste yarn brings as lifelike delicate tiger pattern on woven fabric.
Eco-friendly Denim Blue Jacquard Woven Fabric

PAIHO introduces Eco-Friendly Jacquard Fabric with low environment impact and wastewater emission. Compare to conventional denim fabric processes, our woven fabric reduces most of the wastewater pollution to environment caused by conventional denim fabric dyeing, bleaching, and ripping, also save employees from serious health issue. One-stop weaving process for denim vintage / bleached / Ripped / Jacquard / Flexible / Patched effects with various application for footwear, bag, apparel products.
Recycled Package

The manufacturing processes of PAIHO Easy Tape Molded Hook creates inevitable 100 tons of USEFUL industrial material waste. We re-inject the recycled core for packaging.
